Sometimes you will see an advert on TV which you really like, either the music is excellent,
the visuals are appealing or it's just a very funny advert.
This page details some of my own personal favourites which
I have digitised from my video collection of years past.
Here you can download and watch them for yourself and see if YOU like them too.

I live in Derby (Carlton Central TV region), which is in the centre of England, so the
adverts I see may be different to the ones in other parts of the UK.

From the Saatchi & Saatchi days. The advert was directed by Hugh Hudson, shot in Utah and cost £2 million to make, the ad used over 6,000 local kids to create parts of a human face.

Why I like this advert : This advert is obviously been created after someone has seen the 1987 film The way things go (Der Lauf der Dinge) which was created by two artists by the names of Peter Fischli and David Weiss.
If you can imagine this Honda advert lasting for 30 mins then that is what what the film is like! If you like this advert then you will love the film.
I recently bought the film on DVD, well worth watching.
I hope that this advert will help to introduce people to the film by Peter and David as this has clearly been copied in this advert.

Why I like this advert : Yet again, an absolutely superb advert from Orange. Truly wonderful music backed up with some nice images.
This one will probably give you goose bumps like the 'Night Night' one did!
This is my current favourite advert of all time.
The beach scene at the end was shot on the Isle of Skye and features the actor Tom Graham, who plays Tom Archer in Radio 4's long running soap "The Archers"
Music featured : The Lamb by John Tavener. This can be found on an album by John Tavener called Christmas Proclamation (Choir Of St. John's, Cambridge). Track 3 on this album is "the Lamb".

Why I like this advert : Wonderful bit of music and nice images.
This really is a very good advert, one of the best from Orange.
There is a longer version of this ad shown in the cinema.

It is not available on general release, which is a real shame as I know many many people would love to buy it!

I'm thinking of starting to carry on updating my TV Adverts page as there have been some really good telly adverts recently such as that Muller "Wonderful stuff" one with all the cartoon characters lke Yogi Bear and Mr Men, also I love those Cravendale milk adverts such as Cats with thumbs and the whole set of animated adverts they did. And of course the Cadburys Dairy Milk Gorilla Advert!
